1. Introduction

Thanks for choosing Seedance 3. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form an agreement between you and Seedance 3 covering the AI video and image generation services at seedance-3.video (the "Service"). Accessing or using the Service means you accept the Terms; if you do not accept them, please stay off the Service.

2. Service Description

Seedance 3 lets you generate short video clips from a text prompt (text-to-video) or from a single uploaded start frame (image-to-video), create still images to use as start frames, and keep your results in My Creations. Renders are paid for with credits, and some features may call for an account, a subscription, credits, or a payment.

Seedance 3 is an independent studio and interface built on third-party infrastructure and AI model providers. Depending on the workflow you pick, video jobs may run on ByteDance Seedance 1.5 Pro, Google Veo 3.1, or OpenAI Sora 2, and image jobs on engines such as OpenAI GPT Image, Google Nano Banana, or ByteDance Seedream. Which models are offered, and their names, capabilities, and providers, may change over time. Seedance 3 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by ByteDance or the other model providers unless we expressly say otherwise, and "Seedance" and other model names are trademarks of their respective owners. ByteDance has not officially released Seedance 3.0, and the Service does not provide access to it.

Generated clips and images can be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, or close to material generated for someone else. Review every output before you rely on it, publish it, or share it.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

• You need the legal capacity to agree to these Terms. When you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.
• Keep the account and billing details you provide accurate and current.
• Protecting your sign-in credentials is your job, and you are responsible for all activity on your account.
• Email support@seedance-3.video straight away if you think someone has gained unauthorized access to your account.

4. User Content and Intellectual Property

Any rights you lawfully hold in your prompts, start frames, other uploads, and generated outputs remain yours. It is up to you to ensure your inputs, and whatever you do with outputs, comply with applicable law and respect the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, and other rights of third parties.

To run the Service, you give Seedance 3 and its service providers a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, process, and display your inputs and outputs, but only as far as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and support the Service. That license does not transfer ownership of your lawful content to us.

Seedance 3 or its licensors own the Service itself, including its software, interface, branding, documentation, and original site content. Except where the law allows it or we have agreed in writing, you may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, scrape, or commercially exploit the Service.

5. Subscriptions, Credits, Billing, and Cancellation

• Billing authorization: Buying a subscription or credit pack authorizes the payment provider shown at checkout to charge the displayed amount, applicable taxes, and any recurring fees disclosed to you.
• Automatic renewal: Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. The interval and price are shown before you complete a purchase.
• Cancellation: Use the subscription management portal or the cancel option available from the pricing or account area. Cancelling stops future renewals and normally takes effect once the current paid period ends.
• Credits: The number of credits a render uses depends on the model, duration, resolution, and other settings you choose. Credits cannot be transferred to another account and may expire as stated on the pricing or checkout page.
• Payment processing: Payments are handled by Stripe or another payment provider named at checkout. Full card details are processed by that provider and are never stored on our servers.
• Refunds: Our Refund Policy explains who is eligible and how to ask. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that the law makes mandatory.

If a charge looks wrong, email support@seedance-3.video and give us a chance to investigate before you open a dispute with your payment provider.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

Everything in this section makes up the Acceptable Use Policy for Seedance 3. It applies to the prompts you type, the start frames and files you upload, the clips and images you generate, and any effort to misuse or circumvent the Service.

The categories below are off-limits. You may not generate, edit, upload, ask for, distribute, or assist in producing:

1. Sexual or NSFW content: Nudity, pornography, material that is sexually explicit or suggestive, fetish content, or the offering of sexual services. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualized portrayals of minors, and any grooming or exploitation of minors are strictly banned and enforced with zero tolerance.
2. Violent or graphic content: Graphic injury, gore, torture, material that glorifies violence, terrorism or violent extremism, instructions for weapons of mass destruction, or content meant to threaten or enable physical harm.
3. Hateful or abusive content: Material that attacks, dehumanizes, or harasses people, or encourages discrimination or violence against them, because of protected characteristics.
4. Deceptive impersonation or deepfakes: Non-consensual intimate imagery, misleading portrayals of real people, impersonation, identity fraud, or deepfake videos built to mislead viewers about their source or authenticity.
5. Intellectual-property or privacy violations: Material that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity or privacy rights, confidential information, or any other proprietary or personal right.
6. Illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity: Material that breaks the law, supports scams or phishing, distributes malicious code, promotes regulated wrongdoing, exploits vulnerable people, or is meant to deceive or cause harm.

You must also not bypass safety filters, probe or disrupt the security of the platform, automate unauthorized access, scrape outputs in bulk, resell access without our permission, or use the Service in breach of applicable law or card-network rules.

7. Content Review, Reporting, and Enforcement

Prompts, uploaded start frames, and generated clips and images are checked by automated safeguards. These can include blocklists, automated content-safety filters, and moderation controls supplied by our AI model providers. Automated checks get things wrong at times, so content that is flagged or reported may receive further review.

To report prohibited content, suspected impersonation, a child-safety concern, or infringement, email support@seedance-3.video with Content Report in the subject line. Tell us the relevant URL or account, explain the problem, and add screenshots or other evidence where you can. We aim to acknowledge reports within three business days, and urgent reports involving child safety or a credible risk of physical harm are dealt with first.

Based on severity, past conduct, and applicable law, we may reject a request, block or delete content, restrict features, suspend or close an account, keep relevant records, or refer suspected illegal activity to the proper authorities. Serious violations involving child exploitation, terrorism, credible threats, fraud, or non-consensual intimate imagery may lead to immediate suspension. You can appeal an enforcement decision by replying to the notice or by writing to support with the relevant background.

8. Privacy

The Privacy Policy describes how personal data is collected, used, retained, and shared. By using the Service you acknowledge that prompts, uploaded files, and associated request data may be sent to infrastructure, storage, safety, and AI model providers, including API aggregators, when that is necessary to run the workflow you chose.

9. Service Availability and Changes

The Service is offered "as is" and "as available". Models, features, credit prices, limits, and availability can change, including when an upstream provider alters or retires a model. We may modify, pause, or discontinue any part of the Service for security, reliability, provider compatibility, or legal compliance reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or any specific output from a render.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all express and implied warranties, including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of AI-generated output. No output from the Service constitutes legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, Seedance 3 and its affiliates, service providers, and personnel bear no liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of the Service. Rights and liabilities that the law does not permit to be excluded are unaffected.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service whenever you choose. We may restrict, suspend, or end access where we reasonably believe an account creates a fraud, abuse, security, legal, payment, or policy risk. Requests to close an account or delete personal data follow the process set out in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms as the Service, our providers, or legal requirements develop. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with the date above changed, and where the law requires it we will give additional notice of material changes. Continuing to use the Service once the revised Terms take effect means you accept them.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator of the Service is established, and this does not reduce any mandatory consumer protections you are entitled to. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally.
