Every account opens with 15 free credits. Past that, the model and settings set the price of a clip: Seedance 1.5 Pro runs from 40 credits (480p, 4 seconds) to 312 (1080p, 12 seconds), Veo 3.1 Fast takes 80 and Sora 2 takes 150 or 250.

Credit prices come from the model and the settings you choose. The studio shows the exact figure before every render, and these are the current rates.
40 credits for a 4-second 480p clip, 104 for 8 seconds at 720p, and 312 for 12 seconds at 1080p. Shorter, lower-resolution drafts are the cheapest way to test a prompt.
A flat 80 credits for an 8-second clip in 16:9 or 9:16, usually finished in about a minute. A practical default when you want quick iterations.
700 credits for an 8-second clip that takes roughly one and a half to three minutes. Save it for the final version of a shot you have already tested.
150 credits for 10 seconds or 250 credits for 15 seconds, with native audio. The longest single render currently available in the studio.

The credit cost is reserved as soon as a job starts. If the provider fails or never starts the render, those credits return to your balance automatically.
Monthly plan credits are valid for 30 days and yearly plan credits for 365 days, so plan larger projects inside the period you paid for.
Credit packs are not a subscription and do not renew. Their credits stay usable for 3,650 days from purchase, which suits occasional projects.

A credit balance you can spend on any model in the studio: Seedance 1.5 Pro, Veo 3.1 Fast, Veo 3.1 Quality and Sora 2 for video, plus image models such as Nano Banana, Seedream and GPT Image 2.0 for building a start frame. Finished work stays in My Creations, and image downloads carry no watermark. Seedance 3.0 is not part of any plan because ByteDance has not released it; seedance-3.video is an independent studio with no ByteDance affiliation.
Credits are taken when you submit a job, and the price depends on the model and settings you pick. A Seedance 1.5 Pro clip costs 40 credits at 480p for 4 seconds and up to 312 at 1080p for 12 seconds; Veo 3.1 Fast is 80, Veo 3.1 Quality is 700, and Sora 2 is 150 for 10 seconds or 250 for 15. If the job fails or the model provider never starts it, the reserved credits go back to your balance automatically.
The tiers and models are the same; only the billing changes. Yearly billing works out to half the monthly price: $9.9, $19.9 or $44.9 per month charged once for the year, against $19.9, $39.9 or $89.9 when paid month by month. A year includes 9,600, 24,000 or 72,000 credits depending on the tier. You can cancel at any time, which stops the next renewal.
Credits from a one-time pack remain valid for 3,650 days from purchase, roughly ten years. A pack is a single charge through Stripe, so it never turns into a subscription or renews, and you can buy another whenever your balance runs low.
Ask within 7 days of your first purchase or first subscription charge, as long as the paid features have not been materially used. Approved refunds return to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. Renewals past the 7-day mark, accounts with heavy usage, one-time packs (unless the law requires otherwise) and Terms violations are generally not eligible.
