About Seedance 3: An Independent AI Video Generator Studio
Seedance 3 is an independent AI video studio at seedance-3.video. It pairs a browser workspace for text-to-video and image-to-video jobs with plain-language notes on the Seedance model family and the Seedance 3.0 release cycle. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by ByteDance, and "Seedance" is a ByteDance trademark. ByteDance has not officially released or documented Seedance 3.0 as of this writing, so nothing here should be read as offering access to it.
What can you make with Seedance 3?
A session usually opens with one of two inputs: a written description of the shot you want, or a single start frame you upload and ask the model to animate. The generator currently sends those jobs to ByteDance's Seedance 1.5 Pro, Google's Veo 3.1 Fast and Veo 3.1 Quality, and OpenAI's Sora 2. Each model sets its own limits on duration, resolution, aspect ratio, and audio. Seedance 1.5 Pro, for instance, renders 4, 8, or 12 second clips at up to 1080p. The credit price for whatever combination you choose is displayed before a render begins.
No start frame yet? Switch to image mode, create a key visual with an engine such as Seedream or Nano Banana, and then carry that picture into a video job. Finished clips and stills are saved to My Creations inside your account, and every new account receives 15 free credits that stay valid for 30 days.
Next to the generator we publish model notes, prompt guides, pricing, and policies. Pages that discuss what Seedance 3.0 might change keep ByteDance's own announcements apart from rumours circulating on other sites, and unverified specifications are never restated as fact.
Who runs and maintains this site?
The Seedance 3 team writes and updates the product pages, guides, and release notes. Every page is compared against two references: the live generator that a signed-in visitor can open, and the public documentation from the company behind each model. The way we source, date, and fix that material is described in our Editorial Policy.
Numbers are where hype tends to creep in, so we leave them out unless something backs them up. User totals, guaranteed render times, and "best model" verdicts do not appear here without a repeatable basis. Video generation is not deterministic either: one prompt and one start frame can yield clearly different clips, and results also move with settings, provider load, and upstream model updates.
How we verify product and model information
A product claim is first held up against what the generator actually shows. That covers the input modes on offer, the models listed in the selector, the durations and resolutions each allows, the credit figure shown ahead of a render, and where outputs end up. When a behaviour comes from an upstream model instead of our interface, such as native audio in Sora 2, the page names that model and points to its provider's documentation.
Guides are organised around jobs creators repeat: describing camera movement in a prompt, preparing a clean start frame, deciding between a quick draft and a higher-quality render, or keeping a project inside a credit budget. Provider specifications and our own hands-on observations are labelled separately, and one sample clip is never treated as a benchmark. A page is re-examined and re-dated when a model is added or retired, credit costs move, ByteDance publishes new Seedance information, or a reader confirms a mistake.
Readers can audit this through the source links on model pages and the method notes attached to comparisons. That openness does not make generated video predictable, but it does show what each published statement stands on.
